Dressed in their usual lacy white stage outfits embellished with “bling bling” crystals and silver tassels, the girls appeared with their signature radiant smiles and lively personalities to greet the media.

The press conference started brightly with the girls being asked to do a self-introduction to the media, followed by the emcee having a short question and answer with the girls.
Although Tiffany could understand the questions, a translator was present in the room to help translate the questions so that the other members could understand the questions too.
When asked about their feelings about having their first solo concert in Singapore, Tiffanyanswered that although this was their first solo concert in Singapore, they had visited Singapore in a couple of other occasions and were looking forward to the concert and to meet their Singapore fans. She added that they felt so welcomed by the Singapore fans, that it felt like they have been in Singapore for many times.

Tiffany also mentioned that the girls are excited to perform in Singapore and that they hope for this to be the first of many shows to come. Seohyun followed up by adding that they did not expect such overwhelming support from the Singapore fans as this is only their first full-fledged concert in Singapore.
When asked by the emcee if there is any particular segment of the concert that the girls especially loved, Jessica replied that as they had just released their latest album, “The Boys“, they would be performing it for the first time in their concert.
Sooyoung then followed up by answering that during the concert the previous night, when they were performing “The Boys“, the girls were pleasantly surprised and excited to hear the audience and fans shouting the words “GG!” during Jessica‘s part at the beginning of the song. This move made the girls motivated to perform better and to enjoy the performance with the fans and audiences.

The emcee then directed the questions to the media present, for any media representatives to direct their questions at the girls.
Journalist: You girls have tried a very different sound in the latest album, by trying out rap for the first time in “the Boys”, so can you elaborate more on the reason behind this change?Tiffany: It’s actually not the first time we’ve been rapping because the girls have always been interested in hip hop in our music, and we’ve played around with rapping while we were younger as well. It didn’t feel very new, but it was very exciting to be able to present it to our fans and to all over the world, and most importantly I think our group isn’t afraid of change or a challenge and we enjoy taking on new looks and experiences. That I think is our idea and attitudes towards change.

Journalist: I know that you girls have a very tight and hectic schedule in Korea and all other parts of the world, so how do you guys relieve stress and how do you cope with it?Sooyoung: In fact, we relieve our stress on the stage during the performance, because we really enjoy our performances and the interactions with our fans. Through these performances, we are communicating with our fans, and they give us the energy and the strength to keep on going.
At the end, Tiffany rounded all up by saying “thank you so much for having us, and enjoy the show!“KAvenyou: Is there any unique Singapore food that you all would like to try?Seohyun: We heard that Chilli Crab is very famous here, but we have not tried it yet. We will want to try it soon.Yuri: We tried Ice Kacang today, and it has a unique flavour. It taste similar to a Korean dessert called “Patbingsu”, which we enjoyed eating. Ice Kacang was absolutely delicious!
The short media conference lasted for a short 15 minutes, but the girls dazzled the stage even though some of them looked pretty tired. We will like to thank Running into the Sun for having us at the media conference, to bring this coverage to you fans.
